We went to this hotel after abandoning our original reservation at the Alpine Inn down the street (see that review for a laugh).

The service was great at this hotel, from the moment we called, they gave us a better rate then we got on the internet, and were very helpful. They were more than willing to let us check in early because we drove all night to get there and had so many problems with our other hotel.

The room was so clean and spacious. It had a full kitchen area. Service was good through the whole trip. I would recommended!

The rooms are clean and spacious, with no frills. The front counter staff was very helpfull when we requested a couple fixes in our room, and extremely pleasant. We always stay there when we visit rockford. If you want to be pampered, go elsewhere, if you want to have a clean comfortable place to stay with a full kitchen, stay here.

This is conveniently located and modern motel with nicely furnished rooms and a fairly large laundry room. It would be ideal for the business traveler that needs only the basics, but the motel also caters to pet owners, wrestling fans, welfare recipients, and NASCAR types who are often loud and obnoxious into the late night hours. Also many residents prepare foods in their rooms that emit disgusting odors that waif throughout the motel hallways and into the individual rooms.

This was our second stay here. This time, the rooms were refurbished, with a cheerful color scheme. Same practical room with kitchenette (cooktop, fridge, sink, microwave, cabinets and utensils), decent heating/air conditioning. Staff is incredible, and we were served by the same person as on our first trip!
The only thing that may bother some people is the size of the bathroom; the door comes very close to the front of the toilet. Overall though, there's enough area in front of the large mirror to take care of any need. However, since we don't usually spend much time in the bathroom, it should prove quite adequate for most needs. The tub is full-size.
There are a wealth of restaruants and shopping in the area, including a Wal-Mart, and a discount gas station. A movie theater is just a few blocks away, and a water park is about a mile south. If one could only travel within a small radius, most needs could be well taken care of.
