We stayed her two years in a row when we visited Rockford for the ABA BMX Nationals. It is extremely affordable and the staff was wonderful and accommodating. The rooms were clean. Free breakfast was nice, included waffles, fresh fruit and a variety of pastries,fruit juices, teas and coffee. Standard fare for a continental breakfast. We ate at the Tilted Kilt across the street (I didn't realize it was a Scottish Hooters!). Food was decent, mid-upper price range. We will stay here again for our next trip to Rockford!

I made reservations at this motel after seeing an ad on craiglist advertising $210/wk from the manager Michael.I had made the reservation and got a confirmation and the person I made the reservation with(stacy).I had gave my credit card information to hold the room with my long term desires per the ad running on craiglist.
I had drove many hours to arrive late and tired wanting to relax after having made the reservation with room type,etc.I was met by Leanne on the desk and informed after some wishy washy runaround that there was a problem with my room/reservation in that my card info didn't go through(wasn't valid)and the room wasn't available but housekeeping could get another room cleaned.This was late and I know housekeeping wasn't onsite.I know there wasn't any money problems with my card/account having the funds either.She said/tried running the card again and shazam the card went through.After letting my frustrations become evident and tired and frustrated I was able to get a room as requested.The rooms aren't as per the pictures 100% accurate and the fitness room was made from one of the motel rooms with laundry to the side and the equipment didn't work adequately with only one treadmill and one cycle machine and a tv that sit on a table on the floor.The room was clean and one side of the room was a brick wall for some unknown reason.It's obvious this is an old motel with upgrades through the years but not reflective of the pictures in advertisement.
I don't know what exactly is going on with reservations and availability but I know personally other cohorts had similar and actually got kicked out of the motel.The police was present the first night checking in with two squad cars in the back corner and saw them periodically during my stay.

While working in Byron NGP they locked my friends out their rooms unless they signed another rental agreement 12 days after they checked in. The owner insisted the maid clean the room during the day when they where trying to sleep. The Manager is a Jerk. Stay at the Best Western across the street.

Apparently their confirmation codes are not worth the paper you print them on. There was a soccer touney in town and all the hotels in a 30 mile radius were booked. We ended up staying at a Holiday Inn Express in Rochelle.
