We were looking for a low price motel within driving distance to the Chicago attractions. We found this motel to be quite acceptable. The room was large, with some of the furniture showing a little age. It included a refrigerator, coffee pot, hair dryer, ironing board, etc. The king-sized bed was firm (the way we like it). We were glad the
AC worked well, because the temp was in the 90s. The rooms came with free, wireless Internet. The TV was an older style 30 in, and included a somewhat limited cable selection that included HBO, Cinemax, and I think Showtime. We could hear some planes (O'hare airport a few miles away) and trains, but this did not disturb our sleep.

The motel was a little less than a half hour drive from the Field Museum,
Shedd Aquarium, Skydeck, etc. during non-rush hour times.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

We took advantage of the free breakfast, which included fresh Columbian coffee, make your own waffles, toast, English muffins, cereal, oranges and apples, juice, pastries, etc.

Bottom line is we would stay here again.

This is a tough review to write. Is it a good place to crash for a night? Yeah, but I wouldn't stay here more then 2 days or so. The parking is really crappy and is off two busy streets. I almost got rear ended trying to get into the parking lot. It's value is ok, but the fact that they had refillable shampoo and shower gel dispensers in the shower was a bit of a turn off. It's about 8 minutes from the Cumberland train station which is a 45 minute train ride to Union Station and has a park and ride. As I said, it's a good place to crash of you are low on cash, but that's about it. Service and staff were very and friendly and helpful too which gave it 3 stars.

Parking is terrible(saw someone back into another car because there wasn't enough room to park), carpet in room had holes in it, looked like someone put there fist throught the bathroom door. Ordered online for the room and didn't get what we wanted but the hotel was full so we took what we got. Planned on staying again over the 4th July weekend but canceled.

One night stay before my flight back home I needed some special services.
Friendly staff in the morning and friendly staff during the whole day!

Clean and nice room, well equipped.

My next stay at chicago o'hare, I know where!
