While I appreciate hotels that permit pets no charge, I did not like that my family was forced into a smoking room that totally reeked of heavy smoke. We had to keep the window open all day and bought air freshener just to tolerate the stench. Continental breakfast was sub-par. No bread to toast, just store-bought donuts, cereal, milk coffee juice; better off going to pancake and steak place 1 block away instead for breakfast. Pillows are thin. Room price was reasonable. Extremely convenient to several fast-food joints and a Walmart.

I was pleased with the friendly, helpful staff; but unfortunately, the room had dirt around the corners, a dilapidated chair that was dirty, a stained desk chair, and barely luke-warm bath water. In addition, I could feel the springs in the bed. One of the springs was almost poking through the mattress.

The Quick Start breakfast was set up nicely, but due to the other problems, I will not stay there again.

My family and I stayed at the Super 8 this past Friday night (October 22, 2004. We traveled to Rantoul for a karate tournament. The flyer (for the tournament) listed Super 8 as one of the hotels that was nearby to the tournament. I called them on Monday or Tuesday before and reserved a room. At first I was quoted a price a lot higher than the flyer stated, but when I mentioned it, I got the price ($49) that was on the flyer. When we arrived, the staff was very friendly and informative. Our room was very clean and were surprised to find a recliner included with our room. We had 2 double beds, recliner, table with two chairs, microwave and mini fridge. The room seemed a bit larger than most standard rooms. If I had to give one complaint, it would be that the water pressure could be stronger. Other than that, it was a nice,clean and quiet place to stay. If you are looking for a place to eat, try the Casa Fiesta for mexican food. It was great!

this motel is very clean.the staff is always the same and freindly.
they always keep u happy and will always volunter a clean political correct joke. if u want a pleasant night stay with no interuptions stay there. i have never heard a bad thing abotu them. i strongly recommend this place
