It is an older hotel but has wonderful open atrium space. Price was very reasonable and the staff was helpful with locations of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are good size with some having balconies. Hot Continental breakfast has lots of extras. I stayed 5 nights and would come again.

the genteman on the desk were real nice.(2) i did bus.with real nice.on sat.morning ayoung lady was at check out.(super lady.the staff was nice.the hotel needed a lot of repair.not there fault.i will not stay there again till it gets fixed up.if the two gentlman.(another young lady in the hotel was also helpful friday night.the girl on desk sat.would be future mgrs.i might concider.would not recommed till the place is fixed up.good thing you had a good staff would of never set foot in the place again.*till done fixing up.

We got a decent rate on our room by booking online. And I would say it wasn't work the $15 we saved.

Positives: The front desk staff was nice and helpful.

The rest is all negative:
The rooms were very, very dated. Carpet is stained and ugly. I had seen a partially renovated room, the bathroom looked mostly done, but the rest of the room was half wall papered, no decoration on the wall and they book guests in these? The pillowcases were stained that were on the bed. The double bed room I booked was very dark and dingy, the beds were terrible and the pillows even worse. I didn't try the breakfast, but was told it was terrible by those that did. Biscuits and gravy, with no actual sausage in the gravy and cold cereal. They could at least had one of those waffle makers that every hotel has!

Reading other reviews, it seems this place has been under renovation for quite sometime. I did see a lot of outside construction on the building, but in my opinion, they should focus on the rooms they are actually putting guests in first because If given the choice, I would never stay here in its current condition.

We came to Quincy for an early Valentines Day weekend. We were told they were under renovation and they offered a special price for that reason. The lobby and atrium looked really nice and clean. We got our stuff and headed up to our room. When the elevator doors opened I got scared, the carpet was dirty and up and down the halls there were smudges and smears of something white all over the doors on the left hand side. I was getting very nervous about what we may walk into after reading some of these posts. We came into our room and it was nice and clean a couple stains on the carpet by the couch but no more than other more expensive hotels we have stayed at. We had a balcony we could walk out on overlooking the pool, hottub and atrium which was great! Although we didn't eat breakfast there was biscuits and gravy, pancakes and then of course all the other stuff they generally have on continental breakfast..cereal, etc. They had coffee available 24hrs a day and a local paper for free. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. I would go back this weekend and stay there again if we could. BTW..the next day, the doors across the hall where all cleaned up and the dirty floor, well they were doing drywall in those rooms and you can't keep anything clean when you are doing drywall the dust just goes everywhere. So for the price we were very, very satisfied.
