Everything was soooo nice and clean and when we entered our room the smell was so nice. the bed was nice and clean and so very comfortable; We had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was good and the clerk at the front desk was very nice. All in all a very good experience.

At first glance, you can tell this hotel is gracefully aged. It's very obvious though, that the management has gone through many measures to improve the outward appearance. The staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful upon check in. They even called my room shortly there after to see if needed anything. Very comforting gesture. The room was very clean, and had gotten new furniture and carpet recently. We stayed for 3 days, so we required maid service. The maids were very nice, efficient, and eager to help us.
The breakfast was WONDERFUL. Scrambled eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and potatoes. You caould tell it was freshly made, more than i can say for other places. They also have a pool ( it was closed for the winter) but it is a huge outdoor pool with a patio. They also have several rooms that give your a great view of the river. Over all this is one of the best hotels i have stayed at for price. Usually service is on par with the price, but you would've thought these people were working at a country club! Will definately stay again if i'm in the area.

My family had 2 rooms at the Days Inn in Quincy, IL. The rooms were undergoing a renovation, and while we didn't find our king bedding to our liking (seems we had either double-bed or queen-bed sheets instead of king-sized sheets), we lived through it. However, the pool was very nice and with the warm August weather, we were able to enjoy swimming in the cloverleaf-shaped pool.

The breakfast was very nice: scrambled eggs (they were real!), biscuits and gravy, potatoes, cereal, muffins, coffee, juice, milk, and toast (your choice of white or wheat bread) was all a nice selection. I wished there had been some meat, such as bacon or sausage, but the breakfast was a lot nicer than what we've experienced at other Days Inn properties.

The staff upon checkin / check out was very nice; very helpful in providing a place nearby for dinner and getting out of town using a shortcut.

I think that when the owner gets the hotel in tip-top shape it might be a nice play to stay if you want to stay overnight as we did. The one thing that was a bit distracting was the fact that the hotel is next to a trucking distribution center, so there was a bit of noise during the day as trucks came and went. However, if you're swimming in that nice pool, you won't care!

Great place to stay clean, friendly. awsome service. Great value. Awsome view's, great pool. I can not say enough about the service and the friendly people who work there. They go above and beyond to make our stay great. Best value for the money and people who care and will make you a part of there family. We will be back.
