I picked this motel because they would accept my 90+ pound dog.
I agree with most of the comments from other recent reviewers. The property is indeed old: but it is well maintained; the rooms are clean; contain all the essentials; and everything works OK.
Particular praise for the helpful staff at reception, who gave me suggestions for dining and also directions to a pleasant park in which to exercise the dog.
My sole complaint is about something beyond the control of the management. Days Inn is on the slope of a steep bluff above the Mississippi. A truck fleet depot lies just below the motel. In the wee small hours, those trucks mount up, and begin grinding and snorting their way up the steep road alongside the motel. The noise is bad.
