When I checked in I was offered a larger suite type room or a smaller renovated room. I took the newer one and it still could use a bit of renovation. The hotel is not new and it shows. The lobby is worn, the hallways could use a more pleasant looking carpet. The room had a nice flat screen tv and was clean. The bathroom was small. One plus is that they did not charge for parking, if they did that would be a deal breaker regarding a stay at this hotel.

Smoke alarm kept going off in our room at about 10x the loudness of yours at home!! 3 and 4AM while trying to sleep. Unclear if we were having a fire somewhere or if my room is defective. Staff said it was probably a battery-these should be scheduled changes not when the guest is woke up! Hotel would not reimburse for the stay. I expect more at a Four Points Sheraton, especially for the price paid. They did give me two tickets for free breakfast in Bennigans, but unfortunately after twenty minutes of not clearing the table, no coffee, water or eggs on buffet, we gave up and went somewhere that cared. Manager to be contacted at three the same day to discuss costs, when we called he was 'not in' and they said he would contact us, but no one has.

December 31st day of my nieces wedding - Our 2 rooms booked with confirmation "lost" - arrived at 1:30 had to wait until almost 3:00p.m. to get into room - Wedding at 5:00 - then to our surprise in the bottom of our trash can a used condom - complained once at front desk "Oh we are so sorry - housekeeping will be up there right away" 2 hours later still no housekeeping and 2nd call to manager complaining - "sorry again" - Thought at check-out they would atleast make it right with us "NOTHING" - This will be our last stay at this hotel! P.S. I do have a picture of this disgusting sight but don't have the stomach to post it!

The hotel staff was very helpful in getting us settled with "tons" of luggage and also gave great recommendations for area attractions - including restaurants not in the hotel. The hotel's rooms are nice and beds comfortable. Some areas seem a little older than others but the hotel is good where it counts - comfort, price, value.
