We are Marriot rewards members and frequently look for their best deals for weekend getaways. This hotel did not disappoint! Great, friendly staff, clean rooms and a nice special rate for the weekend. Comfortable bed and spacious room. The only drawbacks we could see were the small bathroom that needed some updating and the HVAC system was VERY loud when it kicked on and off. If you want a solid night's sleep it would be best to turn it completely off. Close to two malls and a short jaunt to the river front area.

We're in Texas but have family up in Caterpillar country, so we visit Peoria a few times a year. We've stayed at Springhill Suites on our last two visits and have been very impressed. The manager (Jeff) is a very pleasant fellow and introduced himself. His staff is amazing. The facility itself looks new (maybe it is?) and is well maintained. And the location is perfect--literally two minutes from I-74. A really good value for the money, plus we get our Marriott points!

All in all hotel okay would probably stay there again. I am a Marriott Rewards member and try to stay at some type of Marriott Hotel. Location was good, checkin was good, called ahead of time to make sure pool and hot tub was working and yes it was, but hot tub was only luke warm, I think the pool was warmer than the hot tub. The kids still enjoyed it. The room was spacious had a great desk for my college student to do some of his last minute papers for school. Although had a hard time keeping the temperature regulated in room either too hot or too cold. Also the TV was not located conveniently. The best was the staff, they were very friendly and helpful!

i stayed last week and had thought i lost a credit card so, upon realizing this, i phone the hotel and promptly rec'd a call back from the GM himself describing the suite just as i'd left it - however, no credit card - this is service. well, come to find out, i had only misplaced the card. great hotel and service with a smile at the desk, plenty of restaurants/shopping within walking distance, keep up the great work!
