After a long drive on the road, this is a pleasant place to stop. While slightly more expensive than some other options, you do get a real little suite and hence, more space.

It was nicely furnished with immaculate linens on the bed. There were two tvs, a fridge and a microwave. It took a little bit of effort to connect to in-room wifi but once started, it worked well.

Breakfast was nice and we appreciated the effort to decorate the breakfast area with a bit of charm. We really liked the real china dishes and stainless cutlery rather than the flimsy disposible stuff at most breakfast bars. The food was just ok -- the fruit salad seemed defrosted from frozen and a bit oversweetened. But that is a rather minor complaint.

The associate at the front desk gave us two free dessert coupons for a nearby restaurant so we availed ourselves of this freebee and were pleased to eat at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse.

Pleasant staff and comfortable, clean rooms made for a very good stay.

We were in Peoria for a wedding and stayed two nights at The Country Inn and Suites. The entire staff from the front desk, cleaning crew and breakfast personnel could not have been friendlier nor more accomodating. Breakfast was good and on Sunday we had wonderful French toast that I believe was homemade. I love the homey atmosphere of The Country Inn and Suites. My only complaint was that the rooms were not as soundproof as I would have liked but all in all, we had a great stay and will return if we are ever in Peoria again.

Got this hotel on Hotwire for 64 dollars, and we are so glad we took this minivacation. A bit tough to find, watch for the signs. Pack n play was missing a sheet, bring your own. Rooms are large and well appointed with flat screen TVs, comfortable beds and chairs, and large bathrooms. Staff is friendly, but did allow a party that was drinking to be talking loudly in the lobby after midnight.. Lobby had books available for checkout and return to another Country Inns. Pool and hot tub were temperate, spacious, clean and towels were plentiful. Breakfast was very generous. So many choices, and Sheila was friendly AND efficient. Things were well stocked and the breakfast area was pleasant. Staff were congregated at one point in the late morning, and it was nice to hear how friendly they were to each other. They had to go breakfasts and fresh cookies, too. Overall, a thoughtfully and very well run hotel.
