DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I was a guest when the entire third floor caught fire. I was told by the manager that everything would be taken care of as my belongings were all ruined by the fire/water/smoke. The owner of this place was very apathetic and I felt that he just did NOT care about the guests. I waited for a month then contacted the hotel manager again. She was nice I must say in all fairness. The owner finally sent a response, it was two lines passing the buck off on his insurance carrier. I finally got word from the insurance carrier that since they could not determine the cause of the fire, I was not entitled to ANY sort of compensation. I lost a printer for my laptop, a GPS, all my clothes, etc. etc.
I emailed the owner back asking if he planned on making this right and he, again, sent a very brief email stating that it it up to the insurance company!! They will take your money for sure but do NOT expect anything in return if the worst happens. DO NOT STAY HERE. Go to the Concorde Inn or stay in Peoria.
I repeat. DO NOT STAY HERE!! I would sleep in my car before I ever stepped foot on this property again. It caught fire and I mean a raging inferno and they did not compensate me or my colleagues for ANYTHING that was destroyed.

We arrived late at night so it was kind of a quick in and out. It was a good location for us to go to the Spoon River drive. Very clean and the room seemed as though it was just remodeled. There was a soccer team staying there which can be a problem but we never heard them after an initial run down the hall. Breakfast was average except the HB eggs were frozen with ice around them. Handy for us to hit and run.

Staff is helpful and customer focused. Good location, quiet.

First of all the outside and inside of the hotel is nice. I was pleased with our room till I realized that in our weird weather no one had turned on the air. after turning it on I realized it did not work we called the people at desk. only to be told there was not any more King suites left or a person to work on it. we could move to a double with a roll away or have our cash back. we have 3 kids and needed a fridge and a microwave. After thinking it over and checking around with other hotels we decided to just stay. we went to the pool to cool off and low and behold the pool was soooooooo cold we could not even get in. the jacuzzi was so luke warm it was not worth it. we went back to the room to go to bed. our 14 year old sleep on the pullout sofa couch and it was broke and leaning down hill so he had to turn backwards to sleep. Should have known when we seen the rip in the couch seat it was not in good shape.after 20 minutes we realized the air conditioner was not working cause the filter was so nasty and molded it could not work. I cleaned it and it worked ok the rest of the night. Some one at the desk thought it would be funny to give us a 4:45 am Wake up call and when we did not answer the phone(we unplugged to stop the 2 year old from calling China.) they came and knocked on the door. The kids where up for good after that. The food was great. Everything else was clean and neat. Just the matance and personnel. Now I vented. I do have to say they sent us a 30 dollar refund after I contacted the website customer service.
