This was a horrible experience. This hotel has gone down really bad since our previous stay here about a year ago. This time we've stayed 3 nights in December. The place stank of old tobacco reek. The room when we entered was icy cold even though we made reservations several days in advance--but nobody cared. The heater is very noisy and it can run only too hot or too cold. The filter compartment in the coffee maker looked like it had never been washed and had thick deposit of residue, which made the coffee taste bitter. We slept in a room with a sofa and king-size bed. The sofa is placed in one line with the TV, which defies any common sense (we would have to bend and twist our heads to be able to watch TV). There were two of us but we found only one thin slice of soap and one tiny bottle of shampoo. The toiled tissue was half-used. The tub and the bathroom in general were dirty. The pillows were old and lumpy, the quilt smelly, window panes dirty. However, the housekeeper was nice and helpful each time we asked her for something. Breakfast was meager unhealthy. While a year ago there were apples and real juice, this time no fruit whatsoever, and some weak, diluted orange liquid replaced the juice. Also, day and night we heard something like doors banging loudly which made the whole building shake (even though it was pretty empty at this time of the year). We will never stay in this place again.
