The staff were nice, the breakfasts were free and good. The one bedroom suite was wonderful including the small kitchen (stayed a week for work). The hotel is near great walking paths (McDonald's Hamburger University is about 8 minutes walk; definitely check it out; it is real, attractive, and on a property that looks like a small college campus). The only issue...price. If you can get a special rate or think you can fight for it. The Oak Brook Mall is near by (need a car) and this offers great shopping and excellent restaurants. I would stay there again and would recommend it especially for longer stays.

At first the staff was not being accommodating to our early check in request, but after realizing the urgency, they were able to find a room for us, even at full capacity. The room was a little less updated than I would have liked, but roomy and clean with a full kitchen, sofa, armchair and small TV. The breakfast bar in the morning was below expectations, but overall there with no issues with our stay. Would not be my first choice in Oak Brook, but would not rule it out either.

Stayed for two nights while visiting the city and seeing a White Sox game; this hotel is a fabulous property! Spotless rooms, very quiet and comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Right of I-88, which gives ease of access to and from the city. If I am in town for leisure or business, I will definantely look up the Residence Inn Oak Brook!

I stayed here for two nights as part of a conference that was being held at the nearby Hamburger University at McDonald's Corporate Headquarters. While the hotel is a little difficult to see from the main road, it is easy to get to with directions and conveniently located to shopping and restaurants.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff was great. We were supposed to have a shuttle between our hotel and the conference location provided by the main conference hotel and even those this was less than smooth, the staff at the Residence Inn were helpful and continued to work to help us out. The breakfast was wonderful as well.

The only downside is that the wireless internet is still 11.0 Mbps which is a little slow by my standards. They also advertise wired access in the rooms, but I was unable to find the connection.
