We were given a room promptly by a disheveled man, but very nice fellow, who was on the phone the whole time he helped us. Gave us 2nd floor room where the halls were 90 degrees, no air, and REEKED of ethnic cooking! Opened room to find unmade bed and promptly shut door to go back down. Elevator was about 95 degrees, no air. He upgraded us, while still on the phone, and gave us a "king suite". The room was 90 degrees, easily, took too long to cool down, had a blanket w/ a cigarette burn clean through it, and the night stand, which mounts on the wall, was on the floor. The crowning touch was that the bathroom has a "window" that is covered/separated from the rest of the room by a SHOWER CURTAIN...I'm dead serious. We didn't even stay that night and they haven't returned our calls, after 5 times of run-around, only refunded 3 of 4 nights. I had a reservation for two nights in September 2010, but 1 month before my stay, a no show fee was charged. I called three times with and each time was told that the manager would call me back. Well I filed complaints with my credit card, the Better Business Bureau and with America's Best Value inns. The manager called and wanted to apply my charge to my future stay and in an email reply to the corporate office referencing my complaint, he said that the desk clerk remembered that I asked for the reservation on the date one month early except my reservation was made on line and 4 months earlier.

The hotel itself is ok. The rooms are nice and the front desk people are helpful and courteous. The problem we have is when my family and I walk out our room. Seems that the Indian family that owns and runs the location are all living here and are ALL COOKING IN THEIR ROOMS!! Don't get me wrong, i have had indian food in the past and enjoyed it.................at a restaurant. We are constantly bombarded with the smell of their spices and such when we leave our room, it seems to smack us in the face. We have been sick a little from it actually. I'll just say that if you do not enjoy the smell of indian food i would suggest staying somewhere else.

Our school's trap team had stayed at this motel two years ago and thought it was a great value. The rooms were spacious, clean and the free breakfast was pretty good. However, our stay this summer was quite the opposite. After a 9 hour drive we found that three of our party didn't have rooms even with confirmation numbers and prior calls to ensure we had rooms. They found us three rooms but they must have been quickly cleared (I can't say cleaned). The carpet was dirty, we had a wash cloth that was supposed to be clean but was a gray color. The hallway had two rooms which had heaped garbage outside their doors and wasn't removed the next morning. I could go on and on. The sad part is that this facility was very nice two years earlier but the management/owner had let things really go.

I know that you should expect what you pay for, this was just very disappointing to have stayed and been very satisfied and then have the total opposite experience. I would pay more and find a motel that takes pride in keeping their facilities updated, repaired and clean.
