We were going to stay here and after we checked in found out the pool was condemned by the Health Dept. Our room was filthy and had black mold growing in the bathroom and air conditioning vent.
We went back to the front desk and explained to them that we couldn't stay there because of the conditions. We left and they charged our credit card. We now have to dispute the charge with our credit card company.
Absolutely the worst hotel experience in my entire life and the filthiest.
Don't stay here!!!

We made our reservations using Expedia through AARP. We had to prepay with their conditions for cancelling. It ended up costing one night's rate for cancelling and not staying there. When we got there we notice the indoor pool had been closed by the health department. We were given a room at the far end of the building and I noticed that the security door was not closed. So I closed the door and tried my electronic key which did not work. I went to the front desk and explained that my key didn't work and was told that the door was left open so smokers could come and go without needing their key. The first room we went in had no knob to adjust the air conditioner. I went to the front desk and asked for a room closer to the desk for better security. I was given a different room which had stains on the pillow cases, a dirty blanket, pubic hair on the sheets and heavy dust on the t.v. I asked for a refund and was told that I would have to get it from Expedia. I asked to take pictures of the room so I could explain to Expedia why I didn't check in, but was told to leave the premises. I called Expedia and had to forfeit a night's rate to cancel per their agreement. It was worth the cost to check in at another hotel.

Told my husband not to pull in there but didnt listen. First room they gave us 1st. floor, air did not work, smoke detector hanging out of ceiling and room smelled really bad. So they gave us another room, air did not work, no door or curtain on shower, and smoke detector hanging out of ceiling. Third room gave us on third floor, air did not work good at all, but we managed to get through the night. Husband slept in floor cause it was too hot in the bed. Hallways were 95 degrees but the front desk area was very cool. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!! Oh and also the pool was condemned, and ice machines were junk!!

This was the worst hotel I have stayed in my entire life. Booked the room on hotels.com which showed beautiful pictures of this place. At checkin the first thing we noticed was the hotel sits next to an active railroad track. Okay... No problem. That was only a small sign. Then when we got inside we noticed the pool was condemned by the Sate Public Health Department. Ok, we just needed a spot to lay our heads. Got to the room half the lights didn't work, smelled like cigarettes, fire alarm was hanging off the ceiling, toilet had thick brown cobwebs around it, towels were too small to dry any part of me, no coffee maker, cups were stryrofoam cups, not individually wrapped, halls were wet and moldy, found a bug in my shirt, ice machine didn't work, room wasn't cleaned the next morning because they said they aren't allowed to come back to clean room if a do not disturb sign was on the door, .....blah...blah...blah.... If I wasn't looking for a place to just lay my head I would have left with the quickness. We noticed all this in the short time we spent at our room. This place needs to be burned to the ground and everyone working there should be court marshaled.
