We've been staying at the Hilton Northbrook for years on their Executive Floor. The rooms were updated several years ago and we believe it's one of the nicest Hiltons worldwide. The bathroom area is large, with a spacious sink outside the toilet/shower room. There are comfy robes available and the king-sized beds have very comfortable mattresses. We are swimmers, to pools are important to us - there's is one of the largest and well maintained - with a skylight that really makes a difference in the basement location. The pool is large enough for lap swimmers and families to occupy the space at the same time. Their breakfast buffet is ample and well supplied, the staff is courteous and the service all round is always reliable and efficient. With much of our family in the Chicago suburbs, it had a great location and provides us with a place that feels like home.

Rooms are remodeled but still stuffy. Refrigerators in room cool items inside, but run hot. Repeated internet service issues, when calling the front desk about the issue, their repeated response is that it is an AT&T issue and provide no assistance.

It really is 3.5 "stars", as it is better than average. However, there is plenty of competition in the nearby area..

The Hilton is a full service hotel, with a good restaurant, nice fitness area, pool, etc... Nice, clean and comfortable with everything you need, sums up this property.

I stay here often, and the highlights would be friendly service, along with an excellent breakfast buffet. No real negatives.

I recently stayed at this hotel for the first time on a business trip to the Chicago area and I was very pleased with the quality of my stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful upon arrival and during my stay. The room was very nicely appointed and the bed was very comfortable. There was free wireless in the room and plenty of space for me to work as well. The restaurant provided an excellent breakfast with fresh food an omelet station to get me started for the day. Nice self-service business center allowed me to print out my boarding pass before leaving for the airport. I will definitely be back and now prefer staying at this Hilton compare to the Crowne Plaza next door. Definitely would recommend!
