A couple of my friends and I stayed here, hoping to save a couple bucks during our weekend in Chicago. The front desk clerk was a really nice guy who was very helpful in getting us into our room with it being almost 2 in the morning. The area around the hotel didn't seem very safe, but not even a mile down the street are some nice restaurants so we figured it would be all right.

When we first walked into our room, everything seemed fine, but we quickly realized that it was not in the best condition. Some of our towels, washcloths, and blankets had stains on them...some of the blankets had cigarette burns...there was a small hole in our ceiling. The air conditioner smelled disgusting when we turned it on, so bad we didn't even want to use it. Our toilet didn't flush...well, you had to flush it at least 5 times to get anything to go down. There was something nasty and sticky on the deadbolt lock to the room. We were only there for somewhere to sleep, so we didn't even bother with the continental breakfast.

When we were leaving the next morning, the family in the room next to us said it was the worst place they've ever stayed. Their shower only had scalding hot water and they said their room was filthy. We were leaving at the same time and the front desk lady wasn't very helpful when we tried to discuss our complaints with her. She acted like there was nothing she could do about what we were saying! Kinda rude, if you ask me.

Bed spread smelled of urine. Room was noisy and dirty. Staff was nice but not helpful.

This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. I say place because in my mind it was not a motel. The rooms were filthy, the shower would not work, the drapes were not hung by the hooks. The employees were not at all helpful. I would recommend looking elsewhere unless you have absolutely no other choice.

This us by far the worst motel in the Chicago area. The rooms were filthy. There were emtpy vodka bottles strewn all over the rooms. No soap or washcloths. The toaster did not work in the lobby for breakfast. We used Orbitz and they said it was a "2 star"! NOT!
