“Not great, but would work for some applications”

This hotel was old. The rooms weren't exactly dirty but everything is old and dingy. This isn't the type of place I would want to bring a woman to. It worked ok for a friend and I though. The service was not great. When I called to make the reservation, it was difficult to understand the foreign person on the phone. Also, this woman who was likely the same person I dealt with in the morning, was not very friendly and seemed somewhat perturbed when I asked for some missing toiletries, although she did give them to me. The person who checked me in late at night was friendly. I'm not familiar with the hotel scene in Naperville but if you could find a newer hotel for a similar price I would try it.

Dont check in! Turn around before you even walk in the door to talk to the person behind the counter who does not understand english. Was assigned this hotel for a business trip, ended up chosing to PAY OUT OF POCKET to stay at the red roof in (very nice) for less $$ han my business payed to have me at the days inn DUMP. Would not refund the business either! Windows painted instead of having blinds, toilet paper holder fell out of wall when attempted to use, stainds on furniture and carpet. Was told i had to pay EXTRA for late check out AND/OR a king size bed (which come standard at red roof in). Just DONT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!! The reviews speak for themselves!

Thank you for your feedback and we apologize for your inconvenience.
It was unfortunate that your company did not book the correct room type for you. I also called the Red Roof Inn myself and found out that they do have higher price for king size bed.
Our goal is to provide our guests with clean, comfortable rooms at an affordable price. We have made enhancements to our housekeeping training program and have seen major improvements in the cleanliness.

“Makes a roach motel look like a good option”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 November 2009

It's been a while since I stayed at this motel but the image has been indelibly etched into my memory, which is why I’m writing a review today.

This hotel was shabby, run down stained sheets and comforter. The smoke detectors had been removed from the ceiling and were sitting in the nightstand. The bathrooms were so poorly maintained and failing apart, you didn’t dare put any pressure on the sink or it might have fallen off the wall. The towels were so threadbare that you could practically see through them.

Don’t bother trying to check in early AT ALL. I showed up 20 min before but they refused me and said I could check in but they would charge me for an extra day.

The front desk was friendly enough but it was nothing to write home about.

As others have said, don’t bother trying to write to the corporate office about any problems you had or you get the “each property is individually owned, please refer to the property management.”

I would never stay at another Days Inn again and most definitely not at this location!

We sincerely apologize for your inconvenience but appreciate the feedback.
We appreciate your stay with us at the hotel.
Your STAY was JULY 2008, and the review
is posted recently Nov. 2009 which does not reflect the right picture as there is time lapse
between the STAY and POSTING the review.
We have taken many steps to improve the quality of our rooms. Specifically, we have replaced the air conditioners, furniture, bed spreads, and curtains in many of our rooms. We hope that these enhancements will improve our guests’ experience at our hotel.

“My annual business trip to Naperville.”

We have been staying at the Days Inn in Naperville for the past 4 or 5 years when we come to an annual convention in the city. We have had excellent check in and check out service. The rooms have always been clean, comfortable and quiet. I plan to return next year, again.

“Takes care of me”

I stay at the Days Inn in Naperville, IL, at least 2 or 3 days a month. I just have to call them and they have my same room ready for me. I feel like they would help me in any way that they could. They make sure the heat is on in the winter or the AC is on in the summer, so my room is always ready.
