1) Reserved non-smoking...given smoking, then told no non-smoking available
2) Checked into room and it had not been cleaned...at 3:30 PM
3) Halls smelled but we checked into room
4) Maid cleaned while we went to dinner...and did a great job
5) Went to dinner...came back to hotel and our keys did not work in room door. Walked down to desk and clerk was aware that our keys would not work and had the replacement keys right there
6) Two of the lights in room did not work
7) Shower head only produced a "jet stream of water
8) Next morning there was an old dirty airconditoning unit sitting in the hall next to our door

Chris was very helpful in providing directions using mapquest to locate a local supermarket and wrigley field. They were great, it was a wonderful experience.

I seached online for a hotel suite in Naperville where I could stay for a day or two while on business and also bring my family as the movers packed and loaded the house.

I had requested a room with double beds, but what I noticed first when entering the hotel room was the sweltering heat. We had unusually warm weather, reaching nearly 60F, but the heat was left set on high.

I tried to turn the heat down at the register, but the knobs were removed. I found a wall-mounted digital thermostat, and it was fairly intuitive to manipulate, so I switched from heat to AC and was comfortable in about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the curtains were thin and light, so the AC fan continually blew out and open the curtains.

The kitchen was useful, particularly the full-size refrigerator and the microwave. We did not use the stove or the pot or pan. There were adequate stock of dishes, but no dishwashing liquid. How does that make sense for a business traveller staying for a day or three?

The hotel charged an extra one-time fee of $4.99 for Wi-Fi, a fairly essential service, in my opinion. The speed was below average. Ok for email and casual browsing, but do not try to download any large files. I was given the security code, so I ssume more than user in the room can use it; we did not verify. I think the code is good for up to one week's stay.

The shower was nice. Good pressure, and adjustable sprays. However, the drain may have been partially clogged, as I was standing in about 4-5 inches of water after a five minute shower. The hotel provides a single bar of soap, presumably to wash hands after using the bathroom. There are no other amenities in the bathroom (i.e. shampoo, shower cap, etc.).

If you want fresh towels, you have to bring them down to the front desk, and they will replace them. Otherwise, only stays of seven nights or longer receive on "Full Service" housekeeping during the week.

The lighting in the room was terrible. At the bedside, there are two compact flourescent 22 Watt lights, which has the same light output as a 100 Watt incandescent! Who wants that much light when you are going to bed, or getting up?

The mattress was a Hotel Orderpedic Pillowtop, which is below average even in Park Place Corporation's product line. I could feel every line of coils/springs as I rolled over from my back to the side. I was astonished when I pulled the sheet off to see a pillowtop. I did manage to sleep, probably due to exhaustion, and certainly not due to comfort. By 7am, too much daylight penetrated the thin curtains that I could no longer sleep.

Parking was plentiful, and I found a spot very near the main entrance. There are no restaurants or stores within walking distance. There is a Guest Laundry facility on the first floor which we did not use. Your room key gains you access. Guests have complimentary use of the nearby Bally's Total Fitness.

From the moment we entered the front door to the day we checked out the staff were awesome. It felt like home. The accommodations were perfect, everything we needed at our fingertips. The property was well kept and quite.
