I found this motel to be a very good place to stay for business. Despite its old-looking exterior, my room was recently updated and well-appointed - especially for its price point.

The place was generally clean and the free wireless internet functional. There was even a convenient place in the lobby to print my boarding passes for the return trip.

The staff was more friendly, attentive and helpful than some 5-star resorts I've visited. They were always quick to arrange a taxi or even shuttle me to a close-by meeting themselves. One evening, I even witnessed a front desk clerk loan some of his personal tools to a guest who needed to repair something in time for a meeting the following day.

The only things I think could use improvement are the exterior (needs updating) and a little more variety in the free breakfast (which is typical of other places).

But overall, I'm glad I found this little motel and will definitely stay with them again the next time I am in town...

My elder child left her laptop in the room and checkout she realized that she forgot to take the laptop from closet, my spouse called hotel after 2 hours of checkout but hotel management told her they could not found my kid laptop so I would strongly recommend not to stay in this hotel, The hotel management and room cleaner should honest enough to give back valuable item if guest forgot in the room during checkout process or after that

This is an older motel, outside corridors, no elevator. Waukegan Rd is 4 lanes and pretty noise all the time. Basic 2nd floor queen bed room was ok. Very clean. Bathroom had been upgraded with new tile, but no grab bars in tub/shower. Felt very safe. Dont know if rooms on the backside were quieter. VERY easy to get to from freeway. Easy freeway access to downtown, Skokie, Evanston, etc. One of few reasonably priced hotels in the area. Recommend you ask for a room in the back to cut the noise. A good priced, basic hotel. Didnt try the free breakfast.

Stayed here for one night on a trip to Chicago. Just needed it for a single night after a hellish day from a flight from LA. Price was good and was well taken care of by hotel. It's in the suburbs for you're not really near all of the Chicago action but it's near all of the basic life necessities, like Walgreens, food, etc. The staff was great and the beds were decent. The shower rocked!
