We stayed there one night when we needed a place to stay overnight before attending a funeral close by the next day. We had spent the day in Chicago, and this was the hotel we stayed at. It is very small, right on the side of the road. We were glad to have a place to sleep at least that night, but it was not fancy at all.

And that's a good thing.

If you're looking for a no frills, clean room at a great rate this a great hotel. The front desk was helpful with directions and recommendations for a place to eat dinner. The room was nice, beds comfortable, and the convenience to the park-n-ride at Skokie (Yellow Line) cannot be beat, especially since we were heading to US Cellular, downtown, & Wrigley.

My only complaint is the road noise was a little loud.

Compared to like hotels this one definately deserves four stars.

At the last minute my father, aunt, and counsin needed a room. Since I work at a hotel myself, my family looked to me to find them rooms. I called the front desk around 9pm and the most pleasent woman helped me figure out rooms for my family (this was not an easy task). My family says they felt like they were very welcomed and the staff was top notch! I want to thank everyone working here for taking care of my family!

We stayed here for four nights while visiting Chicago. Easy to get to the Metra Train for our daily visits to Chicago. Small but clean and updated room. We did request a refrigerator and microwave but they did not have a room available with both but this turned out NOT to be an issue as their breakfast area had both. Bed was comfortable. Only complaint was noise at night from patrons walking by, talking loudly (one night there seemed to be a party outside!) Staff was helpful - good Internet connection. Nice to have the breakfast available (waffles, cereal, hard cooked eggs, yogurt, sweet rolls, breads, juice, coffee/tea). Best of all was the price.
