“You're almost there, Hampton!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

My sister told us this was a new hotel, so we can write off the few glitches as growing pains - the heat in our room was not working the first night, and our card keys stopped working on two consecutive mornings, for example. Both problems were rectified promptly, however, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Included in the room rate was a pretty good breakfast with enough choices to satisfy almost anyone. There is also an indoor pool and exercise room, which my husband took advantage of. The Quad Cities are small enough that the airport location is still convenient for getting where you want to go in good time. We would stay here again.

“Worse hotel exrerience ever,Not quite sure if we were welcome..(african americans).........”

My wife was graduating from Ashford Universtiy about 20 minutes away so we decided to stay at a Hilton affiliated hotel as we ALWAYS do and love it. First off let me start off by saying it was obvious that the lady at the front desk and or this hotel did not want to deal with a black customers. I was evident in her tone, the fact that she never focused on us while talking We got to the front desk and our reservations that we called 48 hour before to confirmed had been changed. Not just changed but changed from 4 nights to only the night of the check in, and this was communicated very very rude. when my wife asked questions about the mix up, she was told YOU can only stay here tonight and "aint nothing we can do about it", we asked if there were any other hilton hotels around and got a very dry response of " not sure" she then ignored my wife and started to help other customers who were getting royal treatment. they never even pretended to solve or better explain our problem. we have stayed at hilton hotels 20 to 25 times straight and never have i been treated like this I mean this aint the 1920's. and black people don't bite. and we deserved to be treated better than this. I did speak with another black couple staying there from vermont and they stated they felt the same racial tension.I really do not have reason to go back to Moline Ill. but I will be traveling real soon and we are not sure if it will be a Hampton inn, embassy suites ,hgi, waldorf etc. We are not sure but I hope this is isolated to this city before i put myself in that situation again and have to pay to be decriminated against in 2011.

Room Tip: be careful with front desk staff. not nice at all,not at all.

“Nicest Hampton experience”

This hotel had the BEST breakfast of any Hampton I've ever stayed. The breakfast was different both days and plenty of it even though the hotel was full. Very friendly staff.

“Great Quad Cities choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2011

We were in town two nights for a wedding. After much research, I booked a king studio suite at this hotel. We were traveling with two small children and needed as much space as possible for our pack-and-play and an inflatable bed for our preschooler. We wound up choosing Hampton Inns for each leg of our road trip to the Quad Cities because we've had good experiences before with this chain. Honestly, the hotels are a tad pricier than they should be, but I am willing to shell out a few extra dollars for the consistency of the chain -- I've always experienced updated buildings, clean rooms and helpful staff. This location was no exception. The suite was a good choice with the kids. The flat screen TV was a nice touch. The hotel is out at the airport, so not in the middle of the QC, but it isn't a far drive from anything. The free breakfast had a bunch of different options, which I found helpful with two picky young eaters. I have to compliment Housekeeping -- the woman who cleaned our room earned her tip dealing with the clutter from my kids and she was very helpful in leaving extra towels and garbage bags for us. I definitely think this is the best hotel choice in Moline.

“Inexpensive, clean, close to airport”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

I stay here when travelling to the Quad Cities for work. It is right next door to the airport, and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The staff is always helpful with restaurant recommendations, the rooms are clean, and the price is right. My only complaint is there never seems to be enough cardio machines for the demand. They have one treadmill, one bike and one elyptical and I often have to wait in line to get on one of them.
