This was the most vile, disgusting, and repulsive (excuse for a ) hotel I've ever been in.
The floors are filthy. The rooms stink. The toilets are disgusting. The bath tub is gross. The pool is moldy. The window sills have fleas. The employees are rude.

They bill your card for the entire stay on check-in and refuse to refund when you try to leave because it is unfit for human occupation.

If you go to the Days Inn website - this particular hotel LOOKS beautiful and great in photos but it had to be of another hotel because in real life - this place is a true dive!!! Aside from being very run down and dirty looking. Practically everything was out of order: Elevator (at times), Pool/Hot Tub, Exercise room, 2nd floor vending...etc. And of course no on tells you this when you book or arrive. The breakfast was very poor. The bagles and donuts were extremely stale and the staff sat at all the tables and left them a mess. 20 minutes of running water before ANY hot water arrived. No hairdryer or iron in the room (website said each room had one). I did borrow an iron from front desk but had to go to Target to get the hair dryer. Room condition was fair at best. The television only got half of the promised channels. NBC didnt come in at all. The "coffee pot" was just disgusting. All the decorative pillows and the chair had tears in the fabric and looked and smelled dirty. Clock alarm was broken too. No complementary paper either! Will not recommend or stay again.

It is sad that this hotel can not meet the expectations of the location. Here sits a run down hotel that is in a excellent location. I invited my family to Illinois and they wanted to stay at a hotel near my home. I picked Days Inn which I thought would accommodate them to the fullest. They stayed two days, when they asked for clean linens and towels, they never got it. The bathrooms in other locations of the hotel was not clean, I think the cleaning crew was on strike. I could go on but it is a waste of my time, just as I guess our business was a waste of theirs! I do understand that a new owner has possession of this hotel. I will give him time to clean up the place and try again. Like all businesses under new management you must give them time to get things in order. Because it is in a great location I hope he has vision to see what a great hotel it could be.

The positives were that the people were nice, there was a pool and hot tub, and breakfast in the morning. The negatives were: Nails sticking out of the wooden table in our room, light bulbs missing, a lamp didn't work, the toilet seat broke, the shower head came off, the muffins and waffles were stale and old, and there was green foamy funky junk floating in the hot tub. Things don't seem to be kept up very well here.
