This hotel beats the competition hands down. Convenient location, clean hotel, very workable rooms, excellent service.

right off I 57, this Holiday Inn Express had Halloween decorations and festive fall flowers to greet us. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool and whirlpool was very inviting. This was one of the best breakfasts at a Holiday Inn Express we ever had. Even though, we came down at a peak time, the food and coffee kept coming and the hostess was pleasant. We would definitely stay here again!

The Hotel was easy to find and easy to enter. Check in and Check out was quick and easy.
Got a guest gift upon check in. The Place was on of the cleanest I've been in. Wasn't there long enough to use the pool did notice that it had indoor and outdoor patio with B-que grill.
Will stay again when in the area.

The Holiday Inn Express Marion IL is not a 5 star hotel, but I can tell you that everyone there is so kind and accommodating. I have stayed numerous times over the last few months and everyone there makes check in and check out a cinch, my stay comfortable and has ALWAYS been of help if I needed it. The sweet woman who puts breakfast out is so kind too :) She makes me feel at home. It's a little pricey for what you get as far as rooms go. Nothing fancy, a bit muggy in the halls and the room if you don't run the air the whole time you are in there, BUT all in all, a safe, kind place to stay. 75 Bucks a night would ROCK (if Holiday Inn Express is reading:)
