Mold in the shower. Threadbare linen. Room in bad condition in every detail. Exterior even looked worse. Only use this motel if you have no other options.

Often when I'm on a trip and just want a clean place to sleep I stay at Motel 6. Usually the experience is ok, basic but clean. Instead, at this Motel 6 we got mold in the shower, tiny threadbare towels, and a broken towel rack lying on the bathroom floor. I agree with the other reviewers here. I wonder if Motel 6 has any standards that their local francisers have to adhere to? If so, this place certainly doesn't make it. Next time I'll pay more for a decent room somewhere else.

Very, very rude staff lives to remind guests that this is a franchise operation and the operator sets his own policies.

If I could give it a negative star, I would. Driving across country with pets, I tend to stay at Motel 6 because I know they're allowed. I checked in after dark and the girl was nice, but as soon as I started walking to my room I was scared. Men drinking and throwing beer bottles over the balcony, people loitering and smoking. As a single 20's female, I was very uneasy. I ducked into my room and bolted the door. It was hot and dark, I turned on lights and AC to find at least 6 flies on the wall. I was too scared to go get my dog out of the car, so I watched TV to fall asleep. Flies kept landing on my face, and the sheets felt gross from being in the stuffy room with no AC. Yuck.
