We stayed there when we took our son to visit Western, IL University. All the rooms face out, much like a no-tell motel. We arrived at night and had to stumble around looking for light since all the lamps and clock were unplugged. There was garbage in the cans and the tub had soap-scum in it. We're guessing it was never really cleaned after the last guest. We slept in our clothes, not wanting to take any chances. The walls are also paper-thin, so needless to say, there is no peace and quiet to be had. The room was cheap, but this is definitely a case of "You get what you pay for"

This hotel is by far the worst I have ever stayed in, the carpet was filthy, the key cards they provide don't work properly, the room is totally outdated with no refrigerator or microwave with a tv that looks like it was pulled out the 90's. Many of us came down to family day because my daughter and nephew attend western il. university, we went online and the pictures look like the place it really nice but trust me don't be fooled, this was a nightmare and everywhere else was booked. It costed us $111.00 dollars for these rooms that were clearly worth 20.00 dollars at most. It should be against the law the beat people out of their money. Oh and you had to go to the front desk to get a iron and board which the cover was also filthy.

When staying at a hotel one should not have to clean one's own room upon arrival. The sheets appeared to have been slept in and then tided up. I would not stay in this hotel until the cleaning crew is fired and replaced by a supervisor who actually inspects the rooms and a cleaning crew that understands what clean means.... yes you must put clean sheets on the beds, and actually clean the room and contact the front desk if something is broken or needs to be repaired.

Had 1st floor room; bathroom recently updated - clean; marble sink, VERY comfortable bed & pillows (king); refrigerator & microwave available, but not used; complimentary breakfast - adequate w/ cereal, toast, cinnamon/raisin bread , mini-muffins & danish; juice, but no fruit; coffee. Very clean outside, although, outside looks somewhat dated. Large complex. A little out of the way on the outskirts of town, UNLESS visiting Western IL University ~ then very close.
