We had booked 6 rooms 4 months in advance of our stay. When we arrived to check in we were told that one of our rooms had been canceled by someone. When we re-booked the room we were told we would have to pay $30 more per night because we had booked through the website and he could not give us that rate.
The next day we were told by an eight year old in our group that he was told to go to his room or the cops would be called. When we asked the manager what was going on, we were told that he was running up and down the halls at 2 in the afternoon and we did not keep him under control the police would be called.
I could see past the funky smelling rooms, bad part of town location, the elevator smelling of nicotine, and the kiddy sized "pool". However, threatening an 8 year old was a step too far.
