Good: The room was clean and large, and the other areas of the hotel were clean as well. The bed was comfortable.
Not Good: The view from my room was of an abandoned building covered in graffiti and an empty lot where people dump furniture. This is right beside the front parking lot of the motel. On the other side is a McDonald's. The rooms are not the least bit sound proof - I could hear my neighbors' every cough and conversation. An outdoor spotlight was pointed directly at my window and so there was a lot of light in the room all night long. I ended up having to buy an eye mask thing since there was no way to block the light. The front desk folks were not the least bit friendly. For the price, I'll stay somewhere else next time. This was no bargain.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff went above and beyond to give assistance to us. The breakfast buffet was nice, and the coffee was delicious. Having McDonalds within walking distance was also a plus!

We stayed at this hotel for several days when dropping our child off at nearby Wheaton College. The hotel started off right by giving us a special rate, and they never stopped impressing us. This is not an elegant hotel, but it offers good quality, consistent cleanliness, friendly service and great value for money spent.

The staff is extremely helpful -- for ex: they providing printed directions and restaurant menus, and always had a kind word and a smile. The rooms are updated and very clean, especially the bathrooms. The included breakfast is very ample, including several fresh fruit options. Our kids loved the good-sized indoor pool and hot tub.

The only negative I remember is waiting for the one guest washing machine to be free...and then finding I'd been waiting because the hotel staff were doing their personal laundry in it.

I booked a theme suite for my husbands birthday as a surprise,got a confromation number, and even conversated with the guy about how the room was. We went to check in the hotel only to be told that our reservation could not be found. He checked the conf. number and nothing. He gave our room to someone else and didn't have any other themed rooms available. I was so upset. Three days later come to find out, I was being charged over $200.00 as a no show, and an extra $130.00 for who knows what. I will never stay at that hotel again!!! I'm even weary about trying anohter hotel with the fear this might happen again.
