This is no luxury hotel by any means, but I still enjoyed my stay. The outside of the hotel was very nice. There's a nice big pond with geese and ducks always around it.
The room was clean, but not spotless. There was a little stain on the carpet and one on the chair. The shower had two tiny spots of mold on the wall. There was soap, but no shampoo in the room. I stayed for a week and the room was not cleaned each day. I was told this at check-in and I actually prefer this to having a maid come in each day when I travel alone, so this was no problem. The air conditioning worked well, and had a nice thermostat on the wall to control it.
My room had a queen sized bed and was of a decent size. The kitchenette had a cook top with two electric burners, a microwave oven, a full sized fridge, a toaster, a coffee pot and a sink. There was also an ironing board and iron and a hair dryer. The microwave and refrigerator were very clean. There was also a complete place setting for two (plates, bowls, forks, spoons), two pans, a big spoon, can opener and a strainer. No spatula or dish soap was provided.
The furniture in the room was a chair with an ottoman, a desk with a computer chair, a four drawer dresser that the TV (25") sat on and a bar type area with two chairs in the kitchenette.
The TV channels included Showtime, Showtime2 and Showtime extreme which was nice. The staff was really friendly and said "good morning" to me each day as I passed to go to my conference.
The hotel is located right across the street from a shopping center with a theater and is in a nice neighborhood. I did not feel afraid walking to and from the movies alone at night. All in all it was a nice place to stay and I would stay again.
