Very nice Hampton Inn in a nice location. We stayed here a couple of days for personal business and found the hotel to be very comforable. The only downside was that the bathroom vanity is a little small and awkward (at least in our room) but the bathroom itself was a comfortable size as was the rest of the room. The room was very clean and well maintained. It had a cozy feel with its built-in cabinetry. The area is very nice and there are a number of restaurants very close by and even a couple that you can walk to. There is also a movie theatre within walking distance. It's only a couple of miles from I94 and I294 and is easy to get to. We flew into Miday which is probably about a 45 minute ride without traffic.
The complimentary breakfast was typical of a hampton inn and included some hot foods, coffee, juices, and assortment of bagels, pastries, muffins and cereals. Overall, very nice.
The staff was very pleasant and there to answer any questions you may have.

Great hotel, comfortable room, & outstanding customer service!!! What more can a traveler ask for? Stayed here for 2 nights in Dec 2011 while my sister was in the area for business. As soon as I arrived & picked up my key at the front desk, I realized that I left my wallet at the cab & started panicking. I was lucky enough to have the cab attendant's cell phone# and was able to get him to come back and drop off my wallet. After entering my hotel room, I received a phone call from the front desk checking on my welfare and informed me that the manager's reception was about to start in case I wanted to get some refreshments (which included beer & wine). What a nice surprise especially after 4 hours of travelling! I also enjoyed their hot breakfast - great selection & very filling. It was my first time staying at a Hampton Inn and I was very impressed! It is obvious that the management & staff in this hotel take great pride in keeping their customers' satisfied! Everyone was very helpful in answering questions & they even took the time to print out movie time schedules for me for the theater located behind the hotel. Even before my arrival, the front desk was always helpful in answering questions I had over the phone such as transportation choices to get from Lincolnshire to Chicago & local attractions. The room was also squeaky clean, quiet and includes a full kitchen. Consider me a happy customer & look forward to staying in other Hampton Inn locations! Thank you for making my first time visit to Illinois a wonderful experience!

Be forewarned that if you reserve and conference room and execute a contract it does not mean you will get the conference room you booked. At the bottom of their contract is states "The hotel reserves the right to relocate your function(s) to another room". The problem isn't with relocation, it's the fact that the hotel may not put you in a room big enough to accomodate all of your guests.

Also be forewarned that this hotel is NOT handicap accessible. They have a silver button near the front door that is meant to open the door for folks ina wheelchair, but it does not work, nor has it worked for years. If you go to the front desk to complain they will tell you they are going to be remodling soon. Note: this is a lie - we have been coming to this hotel for several years and they always say the same thing.

Terrible customer service by the managers as well.

Everything was great! Soft king-sized bed, cozy clean sheets + comforter, ac/heating was very easy to function, quiet, and precise. Bathroom very clean, lots of towels, soap, had hairdryer, powerful toilet flush, huge mirrors... We had a fridge, sink and microwave luckily. We booked as part of a reserved block of rooms for a wedding party, so it was great that we only paid $75/night. Otherwise would be nearly twice that! Don't forget swimsuits, they have a pool. It's small, but big enough for a party. Hot tub also avail. Yes, workout room in small, but we weren't about to work out with hangovers. Breakfast was to be expected. Waffle makers, 4 types of coffee, pastries, juice machines, eggs, sausage, bagels, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, fruit... I was completely satisfied with all that.

The place is next to this really great Thai/Chinese restaurant called "Big Bowl". Great service, accomidating to our every whim. Food is very fresh and they are also big on sustainability and being earth-friendly. Always a good thing.
