The front desk staff is absolutely fantastic. I stayed at this hotel for 3 months, travelling with my bicycle, I was always impressed by the service and friendliness of the staff. Te facility is quite average to somewhat below average, hopefully the Marriott Franchise team will pay attention to this property soon. They would be well served to have the front desk people at the Courtyard move to the Full service Marriottt located behind the courtyard.

We recently stayed at the Lincolnshire Courtyard. The room was clean. One thing we did notice was how noisy the hotel was, we could hear everything from the hallway as people went up and down. The room also seemed dated, and in need of some updates. Not an awful place, especially when considering the price.

We wanted to just get away for a weekend night for some swimming and relaxation with our kids, so as Marriott Rewards members we decided to stay at the Courtyard, as we can stay there for way fewer points that the Lincolnshire Resort. We have stayed here before, with mixed results. Usually, it seems like any kids sport team in the area for tourneys stay here and there are also plenty of wedding parties going here. This time was no exception as there was a girls soccer team and a wedding party here. The good news was that the soccer coach said no swimming for the kids and the wedding party lasted late so they were not around much (though there were people talking outside our room at around 2 a.m. There were not many other people staying here this weekend and it was super nice and quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The room was in great shape and squeeky clean. The pool area was real clean too, though the water was a bit cold, and the towels were quite thin. We were very happy with our stay and will stay again, though it does concern us that they still book any sporting team and party here, thus whether you have a decent time or a great one is dependent on this. Service at the front desk was very nice and good.

Like my other hotel reviews I have stayed here before. When you call to reserve your room ask the hotel if anything is going on. Mainly on weekends. I have been at this hotel twice during weekends. The place always seems up for grabs. During my last stay a soccer team AND a wedding party were staying there. More people means more noise. Running up and down the hallways, loud talking, etc, etc. If you just want to get away I would stay at Spring Hill Suites acoss the street or the resort which is further down the driveway from the Courtyard. All of them are Marriott proprties and I have stayed at all of them. There is alot more room to roam. Back to the Courtyard. My room was missing one of those guest folders with all the hotel information. When I left for dinner I told the frontdesk person If I could have one. She said one would be sent up to your room. I never got it. I knew all about the place but the room should have had it. The room itself was ok. There was some dust on top of the tv and the picture frames. Also for some reason the toilet flush was very weak. And unlike a certain hotel in Grayslake, IL. this hotel had face soap for the sink AND body soap for the shower. [hotel size soap of course] At this hotel they have rooms facing the courtyard. Noise seems to bounce off the walls within the courtyard. People talking, radios, etc. I would avoid the first floor and get a room facing out. IF you choose the first floor the patio doors open all the way in the courtyard and they have outside chairs. The patio doors in the out facing rooms only open a few inches and you look at the parking lots. Also the rooms have a fridge but no microwave. This is really a business hotel for the work week. Between Friday night and Noon on Sundays this place is a wild card.
