We chose to stay here despite previous reviews with poor ratings. We were surprised by the cleanliness and friendly staff. We arrived late and were greeted quickly. Our room was comfortable and warm. We slept very good in comfortable beds. Breakfast was adequate (we are vegetarians.) Before leaving, my son and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub for a few minutes. Another surprise the pool opens at 7am!!! Pleasant stay. Elevator was a plus also.

We stayed one night at this hotel. The person at the front desk was very courteous at check-in and during breakfast. The room was nice and clean. The handle in the bath tub could have been cleaner, but that would be the only area that I would suggest. My husband and son enjoyed the pool together and the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept GREAT. No problem with anything in the room. We would happily stay there again.

i had made a res through the 800# for 5/20(Lincoln,IL). I called on 5/16 or 5/17 and cxld the res. My sister made a res for Decatur, il Comfort Inn (5/20) and that is where we stayed. I was chrgd for the Lincoln hotel. I spoke with the owner and he stated that I never cxld. I do not have my cxltn# but stayed at the Decatur Inn that same night. I was loyal to Comfort Inn by staying with them but now I have incurred a double charge. The owner told me it is "My $89" and I explained to him that it is not his $, it is my $.
Also, the hotel owner in Decatur physical stood over people while we ate breakfast to see what we were eating and my niece had to show him a McDonalds bag to prove that she was not feeding her 1 yr old son from his breakfast. She had to bring the bag to the check in counter. Every guest was watched very intensely-very unnerving (also, exercise facility not working in Decatur). We r international travelers and we will NEVER stay with any hotel related to Comfort Inn! We r treated with respect no matter what country we have gone to but we r not treated with respect in our own by Indian Management. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! The clerk that checked me in was the ONLY positive to this visit.

There was not an icemaker one the second floor. Had to go by the lobby downstairs to get some. The comforter on my bed had multiple stains on it and the bathroom was awful..you had to hold the handle the whole time in order for the toilet to flush. Dirt and mold were in the cracks of the tile in the shower. Just a gross place. Our beds were actually pretty comfortable. When we went to check out ( which I half expected the same guy to be at the front from the night before) the lady didn't even hang up her personal call. (She was not speaking english)

Overall it was mostly what i expected from reading all the other reviews from Google maps.
