This place was TERRIBLE!!! They told us that the rooms that are available to guests that "book online" were the 3 handicapped rooms on the 1st floor. They ALL Smelled like wet dogs, and EXTREME must. The room smelled as though it was wet. We were scheduled to stay for 2 nights. The first night was TERRIBLE, but we managed to get through it because we were told that we could switch rooms the next day. HOWEVER, when we went back to the front desk the next day and the receptionist gave us the room key to a different room, IT WAS JUST AS BAD!!! The bathroom tiles were molded, the removable shower head was disgustingly black-when it should have been clear, the smell of mildewed wet carpet made it unbearable, and overall it was TERRIBLE, The receptionist did not seem shocked when I told her this information, and repeatedly stated that all 3 of the rooms available for people who "book online" are like this, and offered that we could check out early WHICH WE DID!!! THIS HOTEL WAS TERRIBLE AND I WOULD NOT SEND MY WORST ENEMY HERE!!!!!

My mom and I stayed here a Saturday night to go shopping in Gurnee. The hotels in Gurnee were sold out, but we knew the area and knew this location was not too far. With my AAA rate, this hotel was much cheaper than those in Gurnee would have been. Check in was very easy. We had a first floor room on the backside and it was very quiet even though it was very close to the lobby and breakfast area. It is at a fairly busy intersection, but we could not hear the traffic from our room. The bathroom was a little moldy and the room itself could use some sprucing up, the beds looked saggy. But I had a very good night's sleep. Wi-fi was not reliable, had to try several times for it to load. The breakfast in the morning was quite pathetic and crowded (was not set up well). They ran out of milk and never replaced it. Overall the hotel was fine what we needed it for (a place to sleep) and it was clean. If other hotels were sold out, I would probably stay here again, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

I am in my 30yrs, traveled with a friend, stayed at this hotel because it was near six flags.
When I first walked into the room it had an odor. It smelled musty. The room felt cramped and in the handicap room I stayed in the only great thing was the large bathroom it had. In their business center there is only one computer for use. I did not take advantage of the continental breakfast or the pool on site. If I recall correctly the continental breakfast stayed open for only an hour or two. This hotel is pet friendly. This hotel is only 2 stars on that is very accurate. Although I am use to 3 star hotels I have tried to be as objective about this review as possible. I am not sure if I would care to stay here again. I would look into other options first.

I stayed here for the Naval graduation, and found the location excellent. It was close to the train station and CVS plus the town of Liberty ville offered many amenities. The main street offered nice shops and restaurants/bars to relax and wind down, and perfect restaurants to bring your recruit after graduation. Being from the east coast we took the train into Chicago for the day and enjoyed ourselves.
