Stayed here to attend my Niece's graduation from Navy "A" school. The hotel is close to base, so that is convenient. Room was what I'd expect from this class hotel. I'd give cleanliness a C+. Breakfast is minimal. Hotel is in an "iffy" area and I wouldn't recommend wandering around at night. Staff was accommodating. Overall, if you're looking for something close to base and will only be there to sleep, I'd recommend this. Luxury, it is not.

Run down, tired decor, broken tub with dead insects inside, nasty breakfast area....turns my stomach just to recollect

We booked our stay here after reading several positive reviews. All I can say is... thank you for such reviews! The rooms were clean and we slept very well. The only negative thing was that our safe didn't work, nor did they have any regular coffee in our room (only decaf... and what good is that?). No biggie though, we just got some down in the lobby.
I will say, whether you stay at the Sleep Inn or not... be sure to eat across the street at The Full Moon Cafe! They have a HUGE menu and the food was like good ol' fashioned home-cooked meals. We ate there twice... once with our son who graduated from the USNRTC... the service and food was great!!

My wife and I stayed here one night, March 7, 2010, which was a Sunday night. The room was adequate though small. No exercise room but that's okay. Nothing fancy but the price is right. Outside the hotel was atrocious. Cigarette butts all over the place along with garbage of every type. Broken beer bottle as well. Was only 2 or 3 cars in the parking lot if that tells you anything (of course was a Sunday night). As a traveler who logs 50-70 hotel nights per year this was a pretty depressing place to stay. I will not stay here again. To many alternative choices.
