For the most part, Ramada Inn has a good reputation, but our experience was not good. When we checked in, we had a "confirmed" reservation at a reasonable rate. We were told they discovered there had been a computer glitch and that are our rate for all four days was going to be raised by almost $120/night (plus tax). We were flabbergasted. When we said that wasn't acceptable, they told us they would give us Thursday and Sunday nights for the confirmed rate, but Friday and Saturday would still be raised by $70/night (plus tax). We immediately called the RI Corporate Office and put in a complaint. In the meantime, we tried to call the General Mgr., Mary Lynn. The girl at the desk (Corey) would not put us through, was very rude, and ended up hanging up on us. Everything is settled now, but we had to rely on the RI Corporate Office to do it for us. Their Customer Service department personnel are wonderful to deal with...FYI!
