I was kind of disappointed with the overall layout of the property and with the location. First, it is like 100 miles outside Chicago and it has a shuttle that only picks up within 2 miles of the hotel. My experience at this hotel is neither bad nor good. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone because it is very, very remote. The rooms did not look like the pics on the internet and neither did the lobby.

Stayed one night in Nov. 2011. Everything was as nice as I have come to expect at Hyatt Places. Clean rooms, very good as well as friendly service at the front desk. Good location for Chicago suburban business trip but limited restaurants in the immediate vicinity if one is not inclined to drive very far.

I stayed here one night on business for a conference that was held around the corner at Stonegate. it was conveniently located by, and easy to find from, 90. Check-in was quick, and the room was clean and well laid out. The bed was fine and the shower pressure was excellent. The flat-screen TV tilted so you can see it from from the bedroom area or the living room area. Breakfast was provided at the conference so I cannot comment on the hotel's breakfast. I recommend the Hyatt Place and would not hesitate to stay here if I were in the area again.

We stayed at the Hyatt Place on a Saturday night in October 2011. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The room was also very large with 2 double beds and a seperate area with a desk, bar and large sectional couch. The 3 employees we interacted with were all professional and friendly. We stayed as part of a wedding party, so I cannot comment on the regular room rates; but the rate that we paid was excellent for a room of that size. The complimentary breakfast was very nice for a "free" breakfast and the hotel looked very new and modern.
