Most important for me are, cleanliness, comfortable bed, free internet access and good price. This hotel has it all.
The hotel staff were very friendly.
The only thing I don't like is the noise when you have one of the rooms facing to the highway. I always try to get a room on the opposite site.
This hotel is one of my favorite hotels when I am in Chicago area.

We chose this hotel because of its location near the Ravinia Festival. All in all, things were as expected. However, we had a room on the highway, and it was noisey all night long. We did not get restful sleep. Ask or reserve a room on the courtyard. The desk staff was all business with no personal touches even though we are Marriott reward customers. In addiion, breakfast is not complimentary. They charge $11 on a weekend for a breakfast that would be complimentary at other hotels.

Close to major arteries found the courtyard room comfortable, quiet, staff very helpful and the area was safe. close to a shopping dinning and great markets like Trader Joe's and Whole foods... I was glad to have a mini refridge for the few specialty items I prefer.
Would gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone in the area. Be sure to visit the nearby lake area to spot the Frank Lloyd Wright homes or the Botanical Gardens for a Jog!

Lots of plusses: comfortable beds, lots of pillows, toilet and shower separate from sink, large closet with full length mirrors, free high speed internet, complimentary shuttle 5 mile radius from hotel, smoke free, large work desk, 12:00 check out, indoor pool, whirlpool. However, when we arrived, the balcony had a soda can on it (from previous guest?) and the security door was not locked. There was absolutely NO travel information at the hotel. Since I had never been to the Chicago area before, I was hoping someone could tell me what to see or do while I was in town. There was no vent in the bathroom, so the second and third person in there had to put up with the steam lingering. All in all, I would stay again, but security should be a priority for any hotel.
