This BB has a great location and great owners. The breakfast of apple pancakes, abundant coffee, and casual conversation will encourage us to rebook when exploring Chicago again It’s an easy walk to the Ravinia Music Festival, Lake Michigan, and the Metra Station into Chicago. It’s located deep in the classic residential neighborhood of Highland Park. You can walk the streets at any hour, engage the neighbors, and observe interesting residential architecture that includes many Craftman and Mid Century Modern homes.

My boyfriend and I wanted to get away from the city for a night and we found this online. The reviews sounded great so talked with the owners and booked it. It was easily accessible from the train (Metra) and set in a beautiful residential neighborhood. The owners were so sweet and welcoming, an the room was adorable. Everything was perfect - when we came back from a walk along the beach (which is nearby) a bottle of champagne was waiting for us! The breakfast was delicious and talking with the owners was so fun. I can't say enough good things about Ravinia Guest House!

I am waiting to return to this lovely private enclave in the whirlwind of Chicago.

Staying here is like being a cherished guest in a private home. The breakfasts are ample, home cooked, and elegant.

The rooms are sunny, all ementities provided, and wonderful bedding. Decor is for want of a better word: old world class.

Love this bed and breakfast. If you are a bird watcher pack binoculars and take a walk in the neighborhood near Ravinia.

We stayed at this B&B for two nights while visiting Northwestern University.

The hosts were very welcoming without being intrusive and the breakfasts were ample and delicious. The home was lovely and very comfortable, and the location was fantastic: it was very quiet yet still close to the university and to the local attractions.

This was a great place to stay and we would go back if we visited Northwestern again or were in town for something like the Ravinia festival. Recommended.
