I stayed at the Courtyard recently on a business trip. The hotel is very convenient to O'Hare. There is no comp airport shuttle, but the hotel recommended a $29 car services (which was bad. I don't recommend 101 Express!). The hotel staff is super friendly. The hotel is relatively modern and the room was appropriately updated and very clean. The $7 buffet breakfast was okay. If you like coffee, skip the buffet and go across the street to the Dunkin Donuts. For less than the price of the buffet (it normally costs $11) you can get a breakfast sandwich and a much better cup of joe. There is a restaurant/bar next to the hotel called Gullivers. The beer is cold and sandwiches/burgers are good. There is a TGI Fridays and the Dunkin Donuts across the street. The comp wifi is stable and there are a few pcs and a printer available. Try to get a room facing the interior courtyard. I will stay here again in the future. It's a good value hotel if you need to be in this part of the Chicago suburbs.

I attended my high school reunion recently and this hotel was chosen for out-of-towners. It's location is good for those having activities in the Glenview/ Northbrook area which are northwest suburbs of Chicago. The main avenues and highway 294 are close by.
The hotel gave us a good discount for reunion guests...$69 instead of the regular $129 per night for a double queen room. However, I definitely would not pay the full rate for their rooms. They were in serious need of updating, as you can see from my photos. Peeling wallpaper, moldy walls,patched up doors, tiny vanity, and stained windows were turn-offs. Also, the bed was uncomfortable.I am an average sized American adult with maybe 10 extra lbs around the waist, but on the 3rd night, as I rolled over, something cracked beneath me. Not sure if the box spring broke and I didn't want to find out. Many people can't sleep well in a strange bed, so you decide if that's important.
The buffet breakfast each morning was great...scrambled eggs, sausage,hash browns, plus the standard cereal, toast, yogurt, fruit, juice and coffee. There are also many fast-food restaurants within walking distance.
They also have an indoor pool and hot tub and fitness room. Some our our group made use of those amenities.
With ambience and comfort missing, I would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for a wedding. The rooms were clean. The setup of the buidling was quite confusing and I was easily lost. The pool seemed nice but we didn't get a chance to swim. The lobby was a nice place to congregate. The shuttle to & from the reception was run by the hotel and was nice but the buses were small so it took forever to get everyone to the reception. The employees were very kind and understandable concidering the messy condition many of the people staying there were in after the wedding. All in all, it was a nice stay. Pleasant & quiet.

This hotel is conveniently located in Glenview - close to diverse restaurants (Korean, Chinese, Italian, American,etc). It was easy to find; has many parking spaces. even though my room was facing the street, I can barely hear street noise. Room was clean and fresh smelling. Hotel provided sufficient towels and bathroom supplies. The best thing with Marriott properties is the non-smoking policy througout the building. There is an exercise room, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast is available at a reasonable price of $7 per person, and have your omelet prepared; lots of fruits and healthy choices. Check-in and check-out process were a breeze; no issues; friendly staff.
