“Good for business travel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

This hotel is close to Naperville and Chicago, but somehow feels like it is in the middle of nowhere. I guess it is because some stubborn farmer continues to grow corn in the fields on several sides of the building. There is also a large free-standing restaurant next to it, but I have never gone there as it looks more a place to celebrate wedding anniversaries than for a solo business traveler. This hotel is very clean and new. The staff is very polite. It has an above-average breakfast buffet with make-yourself Belgium waffles and fresh fruit. However, the hotel looks like it was constructed and furnished from the cheapest materials from Home Depot. It certainly is not elegant, although it is clean. Me, personally, I'd rather be in a hotel that is walkable from several cafes and restaurants than in the middle of a corn field. But it is cheap, clean, and quiet. For the price, it is a bargain.

“Convenient and clean”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

I have stayed at this Comfort Inn for five nights in the past 15 months and it is covenient to visiting family in the area. I would give it a higher rating but the last night that I stayed there, a Saturday, there was some heavy duty partying going on which made it difficult to sleep. I returned from a family gathering a little past 11:30 PM and found a group outside the entrance drinking; this continued in the hallways past 2:00 AM. The rooms are simple and clean. It seems to be the only reasonable place to stay in this part of the Fox River Valley.

“Met needs, but nothing extra”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 June 2011

I recently stayed here for a family wedding. The place was clean, but looking rather worn in places. Our king suite was spacious and was very reasonably priced. Walls rather thin and quite a bit foot traffic could be heard from room next door. Amenities very basic. Breakfast a little better than standard -- waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, etc. Best part was the donuts from local bakery. Family members actually fought over the cinnamon sugar twists!

“Clean, Comfortable, Friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 May 2011

This hotel is very clean, comfortable, homey even. The staff is very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good & it's near downtown, the train into Chicago, great restaurants, shopping & local activities. The company paid for the hotel, but I found the pricing a bit expensive for the basic amenities. I enjoyed my stay.

“Worth the detour!”

I am a staff member of another Comfort Inn in Michigan and needed to be near the airport in Chicago to pick up my daughter. When we dropped my daughter off, we stayed in a horrible property that was close to the airport, but this time we did a little research. This property came highly rated and is a top Comfort Inn performer. From the directions we recieved to the efficient and friendly check-in, Dave in guest services was absolutely stellar. My family and I felt quite at home and another staff member( Charlie) showed us one of their suite rooms. The only way to tell this property wasn't new were 5+ years of awards lining the wall behind the front desk. There were not alot of frills, but everything we came in contact with from the rooms to the facilities looked new and made us feel like the first people to ever use it. A few suggestions to the hotel staff would be a larger breakfast offering, flatscreen televisions, and a nice raise for your wonderful staff!!!
