This place was falling apart, very dirty and dank smelling and has the nerve to sell ice from the machine!! You can't sleep because trains go by every 10-20 minutes, day and night. I felt very uncomfortable sleeping in the bed. No telling what could have been in my bed. Then you have permanent residents living there. There are much better places to stay in Galesburg. I would recommend staying somewhere else!!

it was in poor conditions, no plug ins for personal use. You only get one set of towels and toilet paper. You have to pay for ice. The room was dirty, no refrigerator or microwave. No maid service at night time. They bang on your door in the morning to try and push you out the room quickly. They are rude I wouldn't ever stay there again.

Really nice and friendly front desk clerks the manager didn't allow parties that were going on. Hotel was clean and quiet all night. when back in Galesburg visit Knox College, I will stay at the Vista Lodge... LOW PRICE NICE PLACE!!!!!

Before you stay at this motel, double-check to see if the property has been renovated in the last three years. My wife and I stayed here in the Fall of 2004 and really regretted not having stayed somewhere else. In my opinion, the property was in fair-to-poor structural condition with many appearance defects and several safety hazards. The motel's entire phone system went dead while we were there, making it impossible for our children to call us or for us to call out. One of the floor lamps in our room was plugged into an extension cord run under the carpet, a clear fire code violation. The motel is located quite close to a very busy railroad crossing: we heard trains coming and going, blowing their horns loudly, many times each evening and on through the night.
