Time for my annual birthday celebration with my best friend and, as usual, my first call for a last minute (as usual) reservation was Stoney Creek Inn of Galena. Very conveniently located only a stone's throw from Galena's Main Street and everything is easy to get to. I've stayed there on business, on skiing weekends with my family and a quick weekend away with my husband. Very impressed with the consistency of a clean and comfortable room and the courtesy of a friendly and accommodating staff of professionals. The very large indoor pool, with a large jacuzzi and sauna was perfect for keeping everyone entertained off the slopes.

The northwoods/outdoors theme is carried throughout the entire hotel and creates a very warm and comfortable ambience.

Very reasonable priced; wifi access and a generous breakfast included.

The Stoney Creek Inn in Galena is a great place to stay while enjoying the Galena area. We stay there everytime we go skiing at Chestnut Mountain. It's great for families and is also a terrfic value for the area!

My family have been guests of the Stoney Creek Inn at Galena, and more recently at Wausau, for many years. The owner, Jim Thompson, has since inception invested personally in his people- recognizing tthey are his greatest asset...and it shows. There is a pervasive Disney "welcome home" feeling to the lodge. Warm and cozy. Clean and all the desirable amenities. Excellent breakfast around the fireplace. Convenient to the ski resorts at the Galena and Wausau locations. This choice is a sure win for the consumer.

We have stayed at several places in our lifetime. We are 71 & 75. This is on the top of the list. This place is the best in Galena. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Everything was clean and very well kept. If we need a get away in the future, we will certainly return. Also I would recomend Stoney Creek Inn to everyone. We will also check in our future travels for a Grand Lodge in the community we travel to. Thank you for a good expersience.
