We stayed here for an anniversary in August and were delighted with the Victorian exterior and authentic interior - we really felt like we were living in Victorian times but with the convenience of A/C. Rooms were lovely including our bedroom and the expansive common areas on the first floor. We were served a gourmet breakfast with presentation that I would expect at a fine dining restaurant; coffee was excellent too - we'll definitely repeat.

“Beautiful home, quick walk to downtown.”
The Queen Anne Guesthouse is a beautifully restored Victorian home. It is a very short walk to downtown Galena. Our room was comfortable, and I liked the period furniture. Carrot cake was great, the only complaint I have is that I don't like eggs for breakfast, (sorry!). Location was perfect.

Our New Year's Eve stay at the Queen Anne was delightful. The entire home was beautifully decorated, and Mike and Anita Reese, the innkeepers, were very warm welcoming with snacks in the parlor upon our arrival. Our room was clean, cozy, and comfortable with a private bathroom. It was amazing to awaken to the smell of fresh coffee which was served in the hallway outside our room. The generous breakfast prepared and served by Mike and Anita was sumptuous.

The Queen Anne is comfortable and their breakfast is amazing! The beds were comfy, the rooms were cozy, the bathroom was wonderful. It was a great place to go and relax. Nice to get away from it all!
