Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express over the weekend. Paid $75 without tax a night. It was tolerable but the property starting to show signs of neglect and the staff could use training in hospitality (like greeting guests at the counter instead of turning away when you want to check in).

I think they had just converted some smoking rooms into non-smoking, unfortunately, I stayed in one. Also, the backside of the shower curtain was nasty. Wall paper in the hallway was peeling. Carpet stains. Breakfast was decent. If you are going to stay in Freeport, I’d check-out other hotels first

This hotel is a little hard to find. It is very nice. We had a jacuzzi suite. The room was very clean and the furniture was all nicely updated. The sheets were a little scatchy. They have two pillows, on each side of the bed- one labled soft & one firm. I would stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel during the beginning of the county fair period and were glad we did. Besides its convenient location, it was really great. We hadn't stayed in a Holiday Inn Express in at least a year, and boy have they really upgraded them...at least this one! New plush bedding, newly decorated rooms, all the room amenities you could want, good TV, good & stable free WiFi without the awful hassle of needing a password, etc. In addition there was an exercise room and pool...didn't have a chance to use either, unfortunately. Breakfast was very good, and we received a thank you note from the General Manager upon our return home. Obviously, we were very pleased!

This hotel had a great breakfast spread; it had all your basics (fresh fruit, cold cereals & bagels) and some fun stuff (hot cinnamon buns and great selections of drinks). The equipment in the exercise room was in great shape. What I loved most about this hotel was the free wireless internet. The staff was extremely friendly & helpful.
