I was traveling for work and was booked at this hotel for two weeks. The first three days I spent in a smoking room, they can no longer smoke in hotels in Illinois but they have yet to get the smell out of the rooms. I was moved to my next room and found after a day at work, my room was damp and musty. I asked that the cleaning staff not turn the air conditioning on in the room, but the room was still damp and musty. I had to ask that a chair be changed because there was mold growing on the seat. So just when I thought it could not get worse, I found that the maids were not cleaning my bathroom. I spoke with the general manager and she assured me that my room would be cleaned. As for the damp and musty room, she advised that she would like to put a fan in my floor level room window for the day so they could air it out! I ended up getting my company involved and was moved to a room on the second floor which was better and at least the dresser drawers were not falling apart. However my room is still not being cleaned. My company will not be using this hotel in future.
