I was visitng my family for over the weekend. I booked here because the rate was reasonable. While the hotel looked a little dated from the outside. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was great and I enjoyed my stay very much. My daughter had a blast in the pool and there were many restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was a normal hot breakfast you'd find at any hotel. This place was well managed. I will be back here next time I'm in the area.
One-night stay recently while visiting family for the holiday. This property was much less expensive than others, and I knew there had to be a reason but since it was just one night, we decided to book here. While its certainly not the worst place Ive ever stayed, I would never stay here again.
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the rooms are updated, but on the "cheap." Location is good, right across from the mall and near gas station and restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: Creepy feeling overall. Carpet was stained, large cracks all over where the ceiling meets the walls, the bathroom was obscenely small, you need to move sideways next to the toilet in order to shut the door and theres about a foot of room at the vanity without having to navigate around the toilet. Lobby area was small and dirty. The pool was way over-chlorinated. The free breakfast was decent but not much selection and my son threw his pastry out as he said it had a funny taste.
Tip: Make sure to ask for a receipt. They charge a $1.50/day "safe fee" which they make you initial on check-in with a note that it can be removed on checkout. When checking out, asked to have it removed and was told it was, but when I asked for a receipt, it was a different story and was told she needed my credit card in order to process the refund of the fee.
Pay the extra $20-30 and stay somewhere else. You'll be glad you did.
Only thing positive is the location. But ANY other hotel near this comfort inn is much better. Really depressing place.
Facility was clean and cheap however they lack in customer service due to the front desk clerk having to answer the phone while checking customers in.
