Clean hotel with reasonable prices. We stayed in a suite with whirlpool tube which was very spacious and included small refrigerator and microwave. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast which included breads, pastries, cereal, an orange and biscuit and gravy. It filled the stomach but more items to choose would have been great. Hotel is pet friendly but no smells of pets upon arrival. Staff very friendly. I did not use the sauna but did use treadmill which was decent. Hotel is within walking distance to Pizza Hut and another fast food restaurant. Will definitely return.

The Lorson Inn provides a clean, quiet stay at a reasonable price.
One suggestion--they could broaden their breakfast choices a little.

We stayed here on our way down to Memphis & were very pleased with it. Flora is a VERY small town but there was a Pizza Hut next door & Walmart just down the street. The rooms were very clean & the included breakfast was excellent, one of the best we had at a Best Western.

The B.W. Lorson in Flora IL. is an above average Best Western property. Flora is not the red-hot center of tourism in southern Illinois but this property is fine. We stayed there three nights and had no complaints.

The room was non-smoking but had been a smoking room in the past. When we first entered the room it was a bit stale but the A/C unit freshened the room in short order.

Our first floor room had an operable window so when the temperature dropped in the evening we had fresh air. Sleeping was fine. The bed was perfectly acceptable. The inn is on a state highway but the traffic noise was not bad, even with the window open.

The room had two queen sized beds, a table, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The shower was good strength, the water had no smell and was plenty hot enough. The bathroom was normal sized but the stool was a bit close to the wall.

One odd thing: the desk was on the wall opposite the wired network connection. There was no wireless web connection so I needed to use my laptop sitting on the bed tethered to the wall with no AC plug close. If one is computer dependent this would be a problem. There is a computer in the lobby so checking Google News was easier there than in my room.

The staff was courteous, the bill had no phantom charges and the room was made-up each day.

All-in-all, it was a good stay.
