Worn out motel. We were lied to right off by owner, who said his CLC reader would not work and he would give it to us for our rate. We paid 57.00. When we got online our rate should have been 37.00. This is NOT a 57.00 motel. KEEP GOING!!!!

This is one of those places that you stumble into. Outside it looks dated, been there for awhile! The room was very nice, bed great, and a fantastic restaurant across the street--Good Home Cooking and live entertainment (Blue grass music). It is a mile off the Interstate, but if you are tired, and need a place to relax--this is it.
We stayed here for one night while attending Homecoming at the University of Illinois. It's about 20 miles from Champaign but the drive was worth it for the money saved. Hotels in Champaign-Urbana are very expensive on football weekends and require a 2 night stay in most cases.
This Days Inn has seen better days but it was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and really, that's all we were interested in plus a place to clean up in the morning. For that, I would recommend this hotel.
It started with a messy dirty smoky reception area upon entering. Boxes stacked up all over. We were so tired and worn out and simply couldn't drive further. The rooms smelled, reeked of odors and are filthy. The dirty bathroom was rusty, stained, broken tiles, and a toilet which didn't shut off properly. Completely outdated and unhygienic.
The breakfast area was filthy, weird odors with windows that probably haven't been washed in years. Whenever someone walked on the filthy carpet dust swirled around.
I strongly suggest to bypass this dump and enjoy a good nights sleep elsewhere. This Hotel is a disgrace to DAYS INN and to USA cleanliness standards. The health department needs to review this premise urgently. Maybe it would work as a gas station.
Departing the next day we found much better Hotels just 8 miles down the highway for a comparable price. If we only would have known the night before???
