Check in was handled well with the nice touch of a pitcher of something cold to drink available at the check in desk (probably lemonade). The room was comfortable and clean. The beds were nice, but had strange lumpy duvets (I thought they weren't washing up well, but we encountered this at a different Hampton we stayed at later in our trip). The bathroom had a nice counter area, but could not have been any smaller. The pool was very small, too. It was clean, but two unparented kids were so rowdy in it that mine didn't have any room to get away from them, so cut their swimming short (not something they usually do).

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Thanks to all parents with kids who happened to be there. We didn't hear them at all. Courteous staff with a standard continental breakfast. Good location for us as well, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

...despite any negative reviews. While admittedly it's difficult to find any "deals" in the Fairview / O'Fallon area, this hotel is perfectly acceptable. Nothing to get excited about, but clean, updated (not brand-new, but not worn), good location, etc.

I was at this locations for one night, I arrived about 9:00 after a long flight from Boston. It's a great locations with a variety of restaurants right in the area. The young man at the front desk, I believe his name was Tim, was very nice, professional and friendly. Gave me a few tips on the hotel and efficiently checked me in. The room, located on the first floor was quiet, had a nice size flat screen TV, comfortable beddings with several pillows of different softness, but I did feel the room needs updating. The wallpaper seemed old and probably had better days. The chair with ottomen looked very comfortable, but there was a huge stain of something on it, so I ate my dinner on the bed. The breakfast buffet was very good, consistant with other Hampton Inn locations. The pool looked inviting, but no time for a dip. The morning staff at the front desk was very welcoming as i gave them my key at checkout. For 1 maybe 2 nights this location will do, more I would consider another location.
