We had reservations here due to a wedding having a preset rate at the hotel. We checked in with no problem however were a bit leery as the elevator creaked and had badly stained carpet. The third floor hallway was poorly lit. Our room had mold on the ceiling. My wife located a red bug on the bed (he was running towards the pillow when I killed him). I asked to be moved to another room and the staff was nice and accomodating. The second room lacked the moldy ceiling but had bedbugs. I killed one and brought it down to show the staff. They were as appalled as I was. They arranged for us to stay at a nearby hotel and paid for our room. On the customer service side they did wonderfully however the hotel's cleanliness is suspect.

I should start by saying that the staff was very friendly. But that's where the positive review ends! This hotel was really dirty. Our room had a thick smoky smell and the toilet was really bad. We were traveling with my son's soccer team so we were a very large group that booked our hotel through the soccer website. They were not ready for us at all. Many of us walked into a dirty used room! The "breakfast" was not stocked so many of us didn't get anything. We will not be staying at Ramada again.

The hotel was over rated as a 3 star. Hole in the wall on the first floor where the old wall paper is. The hall carpet is dark and dirty. My blankets had holes in the material from being worn and old. The shower fixures had rust. I tried to move my bed to plug an item in the electric outlet and the bed headboard broke off hitting the wall. There was a party in the break room
next to the front desk at 1am and people were yelling down the hall. The police was called. Later in the day, I came back to my room at 5pm and my room wasn't clean ie bed wasn't made and trash in the trash cans. There was no fresh towels. The staff tried to make excuses saying maybe the do not disturb sign was on the door which it wasn't. I stated I should have stayed at a different hotel and the house keeping manager said that my choice. I was later told by the house keeping manager that the housekeeper for that section went home early. The hotel offered to clean the room on the spot but I moved to a different room that was clean.The staff refunded my money for one night. This by far was one of the worst hotels I ever stayed at. The room next to me complained when the headboard hit the wall and they were refunded thier money. If you are smart, run from this place.

My daughter and I stayed here over the weekend of November 5th for a tournament. Our team was booked here, which was a real shame. It is smelly, dirty and our bathroom was disgusting. It is so old, there are window air and heat units. When I say smelly, I mean smoke smell. When I say dirty, I mean toilet base had urine all over it, mold, you name it. Our allergies even acted up while in the room. If you have asthma, do not stay here. It was worse than a Motel 6. Disgusting.
