We stayed at this hotel/convention center for my son's wedding. I was terribly disappointed on many levels. First of all, everyone I know who came and stayed that weekend had key trouble. Whether it was the door coming in from outside the building or the room door, rarely did the key we had work. I observed other people checking in during my stay, having the same trouble. On the second floor, the ice machine didn't work for the entire 3 night stay we were there. We notified the front desk on our first night there of the problem and we were told they thought that problem had been fixed already, which leads me to believe it had already been reported prior to our arrival yet never addressed. The vending machine for soda and water dispensed HOT product. No.. it wasn't merely not chilled, it was hot to the touch. This was reported by us and numerous other people staying at the hotel, and we were told it was not their responsibility. I was not only offended by their refusal to take ownership of problems on their property, I was worried about what sort of health/fire hazard this machine may create. We even spoke to the General Manager of the property and we were again rudely informed this was not his problem. Perhaps if the refrigerators in our rooms had been functioning properly, we would not have been so concerned about ice and vending machines. If it had not been for the fact my son's wedding was being held at their convention center, I would have packed up and left for another hotel after the first night.

This is a clean hotel although they are doing some construction right now I am unable to ear it from my room. This is a great value hotel and the rooms are updated and modern with nice beds and flatscreen TVs.

We had our Wedding and Reception at the Waterford this last July and wouldn't have been able to do it without the staff there. Pritesh and Arvin were extremely helpful with everything - contacts for other vendors, the menu, etc and had answers to all of our questions. The day of the event - they kept everything in order and our timeline ended up being perfect. That says a lot considering we had ~500 guests. Kimberli was great with hotel/accommodation side of everything. With over 300 guests coming from out of town, she did a fantastic job with setting up hotel blocks in the area and arranging shuttles for transport. Everyone else, from the housekeepers to the bartenders, were very friendly, also. As for the venue - very clean and the newly remodeled hotel rooms were very nice - especially the honeymoon suite. We received a lot of compliments after the wedding regarding the staff and venue. We can't think of one that we would have changed and highly recommend The Waterford for any event.

We were lucky enough to be able to book our September 3rd wedding at Waterford Banquet Hall. I use the term lucky because they book up for events QUICK! And rightfully so. Pritesh and Arvin are second to none when it comes to planning and hosting a wedding. We had approximately 400 people at our event, which you think would be a huge feat when it came to things like seating, table layouts, and where to fit everything from the photobooth to the candy bar, but no, it was a cake walk. They are experts - right down to the smallest of details. In addition, having Clarion Inn right next to the Banquet Hall made for an easy walk back and forth to rooms, and for all of our guests at the end of the night (especially the 40+ who came in from out of town) to stay. The rooms are beautiful and the entire place is extremely well maintained. If you're planning a wedding, look no further than Waterford Banquets/Clarion Inn. And if you're planning one as large as ours was, make sure to reserve the Family Suite (which we used as the "Bridal Suite" for hair and makeup) - it was absolutely perfect for the morning of and the "icing on top of the cake"!
